This page is dedicated to our dear friend and colleague, Gary Spires. Gary was Distribution Superintendent for ACRWD
for approximately 17 years. He was instrumental in the planning of the new water treatment facility, the Green Township water
line project, the Western Loop water line, the new Cherry Fork Booster Station, the Vaughn Ridge water line extension,
the Measley Ridge composite tank at Peebles, and the Eastern Loop water line.
Gary was diagnosed with ALS ( Lou Gehrig's Disease) in September 2004. Gary retired in March 2005. Gary was an asset
to the Water District and will be sadly missed by all those who knew him and worked with him daily.
